North Seneca Ambulance is dedicated to the establishment, operation, and maintenance of a non-profit ambulance service, providing continuous advanced prehospital care for the residents of northern Seneca County, NY. North Seneca Ambulance Inc (NSA) is an Advanced and Basic Life Support emergency ambulance service that provides emergency medical care to over 23,000 residents in the northern half of Seneca County. The district we serve is extensive, covering more than 220 square miles, including the towns of Waterloo, Seneca Falls, Fayette, Tyre, Junius, and Varick, along with 33 square miles of water, the Montezuma National Wildlife Refuge, and 13 miles of the NYS Thruway.
With a team of paid and volunteer EMTs and paramedics, NSA responds to approximately 3500 calls for service every year. The organization operates two Advanced Life Support ambulances during the day and one overnight, along with a fully equipped SUV ("fly-car"). NSA is available round the clock, 365 days a year, and is dispatched by the County 911 center.
It is worth noting that NSA's board of directors comprises 100% volunteer community members, all of whom share the organization's motto of "People Helping People." This is a testament to their commitment to community service, which helps to translate into high-quality emergency medical services for the residents of Seneca County.
